It can be difficult to decide on which colours to use when choosing your browband so I have written up some helpful hints to start you out.

Some times you find the best result in making a browband the same colour as the horse coat e.g. flaxen chestnut you could use light brown and gold ribbon.

It is vital for any browband to have a good colour combination. Try to pick colours that match each other as well as the horse you are making it for.

Never make colours to contrasting as it takes away from the appearance of the horse.

Never make your browband to LOUD by adding too much metallic or gemstones.

Make sure your browbands are elegant.
